Yum! Anyone else flying today? If so, what rides do you have? Looking like an A320 and then a 737 for me. MD-80 has finally been retired on this route. Also looks like I got an exit row without paying extra for the first leg!

No idea, was supposed to be in first class on a 737-900 as of 2100 yesterday. Now I’m sitting in Atlanta on 2 hours of sleep waiting for maybe a shit middle seat in steerage for a six hour flight. Also I should have been heading to work in about 2 hours. :/

Flew back Friday. Had an A320 then an A330, and finally a 737-900 (it was a long day). No one next to me the whole trip though, which was nice. 737 was definitely nicer than the other two (I love the huge windows on the newer 737s). The A330 had the dumb design where the remote for the screen is on the side of the armrest (also the case on the 777 I flew out on), which was annoying (though pretty standard), coach seats are narrow enough without making the armrest an inch thicker to accommodate the remote.

But what about your other leg?

Last time I flew, we had a factory-fresh B739 for the first leg, then a rickety, smelly old A320 for the second. Repeat in reverse for the return trip. I never get airsick, but I got queasy both times on the 320.

If it’s not Boeing, I’m not going.

Like I have a choice....

First leg only. I checked in late and got lucky with the flight being full and nobody had upgraded I guess. A320 was a little bumpy. Next leg is the 73. We’ll see if it’s a new one. Hopefully, since it’s a 3+ hr. flight

Good luck! I just spent an hour holding in the air due to storms at DFW. Gonna be running for a connection. Not looking good unless it got delayed too.
